Confirm receipt
Everything as agreed? If so, and no dispute is opened, funds are released to the traveler automatically after the 3-day window. If there’s a problem, open a dispute within 3 days for review.

How payment protection works
VoyagEase uses Stripe to process payments: your money stays with Stripe until the service is confirmed complete, or is released automatically under the rules below.
You pay through Stripe
The payment is processed by Stripe. No cash changes hands between individuals.
The traveller sets off
The payment stays with Stripe while the journey takes place.
You confirm — or the timer runs
Tap "All good" as soon as the service is complete. If you don't, and you haven't reported a problem, the payment is released automatically 3 days after the trip ends.
Funds are transferred
Stripe transfers the amount to the traveller. If there is a problem, you can report it and request a refund.
For requesters
Your money is held until your explicit confirmation. Open a dispute within 3 days if needed. Automatic refund if the traveler does not respond.
For travelers
You are protected against false claims. You have 7 days to respond to any dispute and present your side before any decision is made.
Trusted profiles
Phone verification is optional for the public trust badge, but required for travelers to receive payouts via Stripe. Ratings are public and permanent.

Is it legal to carry items for someone else?
Yes, for everyday items that comply with customs regulations. VoyagEase explicitly prohibits illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, and items exceeding customs limits. Each user is responsible for complying with applicable laws in their country.
How am I protected as a requester?
Your payment is processed by Stripe. It is released to the traveller when you confirm the service is complete, or automatically 3 days after the trip ends if you have not reported a problem. If something goes wrong, report it before that period ends and you can request a refund.
How much does VoyagEase cost?
The price is freely negotiated between requester and traveler via the built-in chat. A platform service fee applies per transaction. Travelers receive 100% of the agreed price. The app is free to download.
Can I ask a traveler to buy something abroad for me?
Yes. You can request overseas purchases through VoyagEase, and travelers can buy and bring items for you when they are already on that route.
What can I ask a traveler to bring?
Documents, personal items, gifts, small merchandise, and overseas purchases made by the traveler on your behalf — subject to customs compliance. Prohibited items are listed in our community guidelines.
Which countries does VoyagEase cover?
VoyagEase covers 40+ countries. Most active routes include Europe to North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia), Europe to the Middle East, and Europe to Southeast Asia. New routes are added every month.
How does profile verification work?
Email verification is required at registration. Phone verification is optional for the public Trusted Profile badge, but required for travelers to receive payouts via Stripe. Ratings and reviews are collected after each completed service and publicly visible.
Can travelers share a ride too?
Yes. Travelers can also offer shared rides when they have available seats on their existing trip.
