What matters is the country of your bank account, not the country of the trip. Set up payouts in your profile before your first trip — Stripe will ask for your details, bank account, a phone number with an SMS code, and sometimes an ID document. Your banking details are stored with Stripe, not with VoyagEase.

Payment by the requester

If something goes wrong
A problem with the service
Tap "Report a problem" in the chat before the automatic transfer. The transfer is paused. The traveler has 7 days to respond; if there's no response, the money is refunded to the requester.
The traveler cancels the trip
The payment is refunded to the requester.
The traveler never connects payouts
17 days after the trip ends, the requester is automatically refunded in full.

Is VoyagEase a delivery service?
No. VoyagEase doesn't deliver anything itself and doesn't employ couriers. We help you find a traveler already heading your way and safely agree on the details with them in chat.
Is it legal to carry items for someone else?
Yes, for everyday items that comply with customs regulations. VoyagEase explicitly prohibits illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, and items exceeding customs limits. Each user is responsible for complying with applicable laws — VoyagEase doesn't guarantee it.
What can I ask a traveler to bring?
Documents, personal items, gifts, small merchandise, and even overseas purchases made by the traveler on your behalf, at your request — subject to customs compliance.
How much does VoyagEase cost?
The price is set by the traveler — between €1 and €150, fixed or negotiable; it can be discussed in chat. You see the total amount in the app before paying. The app is free to download.
How am I protected as a requester?
Your payment stays with Stripe until the trip ends. If something's wrong, tap "Report a problem" in chat — before the automatic transfer. Details in "How payment works, from order to payout".
What happens if I don't confirm?
If you don't confirm and no dispute is open, the money is released to the traveler automatically 3 days after the trip ends.
Where can the traveler receive payouts?
To a bank account in the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, US, or Canada. What matters is where you live and bank, not your destination. Your country isn't listed? Request it in the app — we'll let you know when payouts become available there.
Can I pay if I live in Russia?
Yes, if you have a card issued by a bank outside Russia. Cards from Russian banks are not accepted.
What does the "Verified traveler" badge mean?
Email must be verified at registration — without it, you can't publish a trip. VoyagEase doesn't have separate phone verification. The "Verified traveler" badge appears when a traveler completes Stripe identity verification. The badge doesn't guarantee good faith — ratings and reviews do.
Which countries and languages does the app work in?
The app is available in 170+ countries, on iOS and Android, in English, French, and Russian. You must be 18+ to use it. A route appears as soon as a traveler publishes their trip.
Can I be both a traveler and a requester?
Yes, it's the same account. Today you publish your trip, tomorrow you look for a traveler for your own errand.
Can travelers share a ride too?
Yes. Travelers can also offer shared rides when they have available seats on their existing trip.
